DICK DEVOE BUICK-CADILLAC, INC. THE GREAT DEVOE GTO GIVEAWAY
AUGUST 10, 2009 – DECEMBER 19TH, 2009
Dick DeVoe Buick-Cadillac, Inc. is conducting a vehicle drawing from AUGUST 10, 2009 through DECEMBER 19, 2009. A 1967 Pontiac GTO valued at $45,000 will be awarded. On December 19th, 2009, the award will be selected at random from the entries received.
Beginning August 10, 2009 an eligible contestant can enter the contest at the DeVoe Pontiac Buick GMC location. No purchase is necessary to enter or win. Each Contestant must complete an entry form and submit the completed form to the DeVoe Pontiac Buick GMC dealership. Each contestant may enter only once. The winner will be randomly selected from the entries at DeVoe Pontiac Buick GMC. DeVoe Pontiac Buick GMC management will randomly draw 15 entry forms of contestants. Each of the 15 contestants will be given a vehicle key. One of the 15 keys will unlock or start the winning vehicle. The contestant that reveals the winning key is the winner of the 1967 Pontiac GTO. The winner must be present at the time of drawing, December 19th, 2009 to win. If in the event of a natural disaster, and the dealer cannot giveaway the vehicle on December 19th, 2009, dealer will re-schedule vehicle giveaway date at their earliest convenience.
The prizewinner will be responsible for insurance on the vehicle. In the event, that the prizewinner does not want to keep the grand prize they may take the cash option of $20,000. The winner must pay the Florida tax rate of 6% on the vehicle amount of $45,000. The winner must fill out a 1099 form and is responsible for all government taxes.
The winner will be required to sign a release form before the prize will be awarded and will be responsible for all taxes due thereon. For promotional purposes and without financial remuneration, Dick DeVoe Buick-Cadillac, Inc. dba DeVoe Pontiac Buick GMC shall have the right to publicize the name, character likeness, photograph and voice of the prize winner and the fact that they are a grand prize winner.
The contest is open to persons 18 years of age and older and have a United States drivers license and Social Security number. Employees of Dick DeVoe Buick-Cadillac, Inc., related sponsors and their respective immediate families may not participate and are not eligible to win. The term immediate families include, but not limited to spouses, grandparents, parents, siblings, children, grandchildren, in-laws, members of the same household and domestic partners. DeVoe Pontiac Buick GMC management will have final ruling of the term “immediate families.”
There is no purchase necessary to enter or win the contest. Void where prohibited.
There will be no substitution of prizes other than what is listed in paragraph three. Participation in the contest and prizes awarded are non-transferable.
Dick DeVoe Buick-Cadillac, Inc. reserves the right to make rules or contest changes without notice at any time without liability to any contestant.
The decision of Dick DeVoe Buick-Cadillac, Inc. dba DeVoe Pontiac Buick GMC management in the interpretation of these rules is final. By participating, persons agree to be bound by the decisions of Dick DeVoe Buick-Cadillac, Inc. and the official rules.
Neither Dick DeVoe Buick-Cadillac, Inc., nor its representatives, dealerships, agencies or employees, are responsible for any liability arising directly or indirectly from the award or use of prize money.
Neither Dick DeVoe Buick-Cadillac, Inc., nor its representatives, dealerships, agencies or employees, are responsible for any transportation to or from a Dick DeVoe Buick-Cadillac, Inc. dealership for entry into the contest or difficulties in travel or prize delivery.
